Home Buyer Seminar

Our free workshop for Home Buyers is the quickest and best way to get started. This five hour course will cover the Washington State Housing Finance Commission loan program, with reduced interest rate loans for first time buyers. Visit www.wshfc.org to learn more.

When you attend, you will earn a certificate required to receive the reduced rate loans. This certificate also makes you eligible for many of the other grant programs in the area. All types of people can benefit from this class. We provide an in depth look at loan programs, credit scores and how to repair your credit. You will learn:

  • How to interview a real estate agent and what questions to ask.
  • How real estate agents get paid.
  • What to watch out for at open houses.
  • What you are entitled to receive when an agent represents you.
  • How to avoid predatory lending practices. What to watch out for.
  • Where to find grant programs and low interest rate loan programs.
  • How and why banks qualify buyers and on what basis, from lenders who specialize in working with First Time Buyers.

We will de-mystify the process of buying a home for you. We will go through the process from start to finish, so that you will get all the details to learn the process of home buying.
